In 1978, Fundació Puigvert became the first private healthcare institution in Spain to operate under agreements reached with public health authorities regarding the provision of healthcare services. At present, our hospital is associated with the Catalonian integral healthcare system for public use SISCAT through an agreement with regional health authorities (CatSalut).

Barcelona Centre Privat (BCP) is the name adopted by Fundació Puigvert for its development and management of medical and surgical activities that are not funded by regional health authorities (CatSalut). We offer a wide range of highly specialised services to quickly solve any health-related problem within our fields of specialisation.
