Biografía

Dr Félix Millán is the Chief Clinical Officer of the Urology Department.

He graduated in Medicine and Surgery, specialised in Urology and obtained a PhD in Medicine and Surgery. He also holds a master's degree in Design and Statistics in Health Sciences.

He is a renowned specialist in Urology and Integrative Medicine, which encompasses conventional and natural medicine with evidence-based complementary treatments and techniques to improve the patient's health and quality of life. Dr Millán is also an expert in urolithiasis, endourology, extracorporeal lithotripsy, shock waves and kidney stones.

He has directed several doctoral theses and is a member and consultant of the Spanish Society of Precision Health, as well as a disseminator and teacher of Integrative Medicine.

Actividad docente y científica

He is the author of hundreds of publications and scientific presentations.
He is a reviewer for the journals Actas Urológicas Españolas.
He is the director of several doctoral theses and dissertations as well as the director of clinical trials and courses in urology, statistics and integrative medicine.
He has participated in many national and international congresses by giving lectures.

Distinciones

2018 – Best Surgical Technique Award from the SCU: ECIRS as a disposable ureteroscope: bilateral synchronous treatment.
2017 – Best Clinical Case Award. Ureteral lithiasis in crossed fused renal ectopia. Barcelona, 20th Symposium of the Catalan Society of Urology.
