Moreover, it is a National Health System Benchmark Unit (CSUR) for the Exstrophy-Epispadias Complex. This condition is a complex and rare congenital anomaly involving the musculoskeletal, urinary, reproductive and intestinal tract systems, resulting in urinary, sexual and reproductive disorders.
